My name is Sive. I use they/them pronouns and I'm bi.
I like to draw, sing, compose, write... Basically anything related to art, I'm an artsy ram. I also like to play games and study foreign languages, sometimes.

I'm a yale! And a very proud one! We're mythical creatures from southern and central Europe; rams the size of a horse, the jaws of a boar, the tail of an elephant and flexible horns.

I mean... It's complicated...

I'm effectively a human; my body is human, my mind is human, I am a human.

But psychologically and, at some level, spiritually, I don't perceive myself as one. It just doesn't feel right.

I am what is called an otherkin or alterhuman: a person who is... well, something other than human. Deep inside.

It is unclear why this phenomenon happens, at least from a scientific perspective, but I'm not harming anyone by saying I'm some kind of weird goat-boar chimera.

The brain is really powerful, y'know? If it's conviced of something, it will do anything to make it seem true. Even at absurd levels.

There are some psychosomatic phenomena that prove this, like phantom touch or phantom limbs. Well some of us can feel this second phenomenon. I can.

Sometimes I can feel my tail out of my coccyx or my horns out of my head. It's kinda scary, but also strangely comforting.

Other people tend to have other kinds of shifts, like in mindset or behaviour. They'll even have recurrent dreams about their "true form" so to speak.

There's a lot of ways to be otherkin and none of them are wrong.
